Average

Average, also known as the arithmetic mean, is a type of measure of central tendency which is calculated by adding a group of numbers together and then dividing by the count of those numbers.

How to calculate

  1. List the given numbers: To find the average, first list all the given numbers.

  2. Add the numbers: Then, add all the numbers together and store the total in a variable.

  3. Divide the total by the count of numbers: Then, divide the total by the count of numbers in the list. This will give you the average.

  4. Round off the result: Finally, round off the result to the required number of decimal places.
